Hey There!
My name is Alyssa Joy McBride - I am so glad you're here!
All About Me
I am currently entering my final year at Kennesaw State University as a Cello Performance Major. I am classically trained in solo, chamber, and symphonic settings, and I frequently perform in a variety of venues including weddings, churches, corporate events, and numerous other unique settings. I study under Charae Krueger, and I work with several other amazing teachers and performers including Dr. Nathaniel Parker, Ken Wagner, and Huu Mai.
As I work to finish my Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance, my career in Symphonic Librarianship has soared. I have served as the KSU Symphony Assistant for a total of three years under Dr. Parker, and I have the honor of serving the Georgia Symphony Orchestra as their Library Intern. My goal after college is to get a double masters in Music Library Science and Music Performance as these have proven to be my deep passions. I desire to have a full career as a music librarian, perform regularly on the side, and continue to teach private lessons as well.
